3rd Annual Family Olympics - 7/15/2006!

Let this year's games begin!

Brooklyn Fortune Cookies (Red) VS. New Jersey Big Apple Eaters (White)!

Stretch Time! Jon likes to show off his butt to the camera.

First Tug O War Match... I'm all the way in the back for the white team... Yeah we kicked those Brooklyn Fortune Cookie's butts in Tug O War!

Rope burns from Tug O War... ouch painful... (Picture of Kevin's hand)

Joanna loses a shoe after losing her Tug O War match...

And the guys are off!

My dad's all tired out after the long distance race... He did well, he got 3rd place! but that's because he raced against the girls... bleh... He gave a strong effort to win MVP honors of the New Jersey team.

Jersey was winning in the beginning, but the Brooklyn Fortune Cookies wins an event to start a comeback... Is it going to be enough?

Everyone's giving it their all to help their team win. Kenneth falls during an important relay race.

Nick is the next to go down... concrete + shirtless = lots of pain!

Me falling in the long jump... My excuse - it was raining... Plus it don't matter I won first place in the event... it was for the good of the team!

Teddy falls during an important race... This might cost the Jersey team the match!

It's ok little brother, even though you might've cost our team the match, we'll still help you up... YEAH RIGHT! Do you see me anywhere in that picture helping him??? That's right, I don't help my teammates that lose!!!

Yvonne and Kai can feel a victory for Brooklyn this year!

It's close going into the final event... But win or lose, this event was fun for everyone... well maybe not Kevin (right) he cramped up and had to leave the competition early.

It was even fun for all the couples... look a white kid in the group! Janet (right) wins MVP honors for the Brooklyn team by winning 1st place in the women's long distance run.

"Pain heals, Chicks dig scars... Glory lasts for ever" (Nick gets his cuts patched up)

In the end, the Brooklyn Fortune Cookies pulled off the win this year. So sad... it's ok though, Jersey won last year... Well, until next year!

THANK YOU MONICA FOR DOING A GREAT JOB!

After studying hardcore for a month or so and then taking the 9 hour exam, it feels extremely good to be finally done! (I hope I passed!)  Most people would relax afterwards, but not me! The day right after the exam I painted my room! I've never painted before, but it really wasn't that hard... There are a few splotches of paint here and there on the floor (stupid floor drape wasn't large enough!). But other than that I think we did a pretty good job (I got a little help from my friend Freddy. He was a painting virgin too before yesterday! But that guy can do it all, he teaches CPR, fixes computers, macks on girls, and now he can paint too!)

In any case, I promised my friend I would do this... stupid tagging game...

Tagged by Shogun565: 6 weird habits/things

1. I like to name inanimate objects. (Corolla - Persephone, Camry - Maris short for Marissa, Ipod Nano - Nana, My Old Guitar - Macademia, My Stuffed Pikachu Doll - Pikachu... uh yeah you guys get the picture)

2. I'm pretty superstitious. I have a pair of lucky boxers (which havn't been too lucky lately... time to find me a new pair!)

3. When I sleep at night, I make up stories in my mind where I'm a superhero saving the world from supervillians... well mostly saving hot girls from supervillians, but sometimes the world too... (This might seem crazy, but I have a very active mind, and focusing on making up a fictional story keeps me from thinking about other things and I fall asleep easily)

4. I think guys who can play acoustic guitar well are hot, girls who can play acoustic guitar - not that hot... I'm not gay, it's a thing... just like I think female teachers are hot, male teachers - not hot.

5. I stapled my thumb as a kid (Yes I was a dumb kid... still kinda dumb now... ) but even now I'm really careful with staplers and I still have a small fear of them.

6. Features of a girl I think are sexy: Legs and Nice Smile/Lips... NOT Boobs

Finally, Congratulations to Alex (Ronny) Rances and Christine Law on tying the knot! Best Wishes!

Random Thoughts (on teen pop stars)

I know I have more important things to think about with boards less than a week away, but does anyone else think Hilary Duff on the this month's cover of 'Elle' magazine hot???  Ok that was pretty gay... I don't read 'Elle' magazine, I just happened to saw it at Barnes & Nobles today... sheesh... But dang, she looks hot! Who cares about her annoying days as Lizzie Mcguire and all her cheesy songs (by the way, you must admit, some of them are quite catchy...) Well ok, it might be sleezy for me to be talking about a 19 year old celebrity like this, but at least it's not as bad as being 31 years old and still thinking she's hot... ahem Alex Rances... Dang, Alex, you can be her daddy!

In any case, Hiliary Duff can't be as annoying as another pop star... Britney Spears... Here's a blurb from today's Dateline interview:

Interviewer: "Is it true your baby fell out of a high chair?"

Britney Spears: "Yes, and when I bought him to the hospital, all the doctors were asking me weird questions... what did I do wrong???"

Uh... gee I don't even know how to respond to that one... I feel bad for her baby...

Well that's my rant on pop star celebrities. What would we do without them? The world would be a boring place...

Well I don't really have much to say... this month I will be preparing for my board exams so I doubt anything exciting will happen. I did go grocery shopping today and I wanted to share with everyone what I bought (How Exciting!)
